• Video files are created on YOUR computer
• Nothing is uploaded to our servers
• We cannot access your recordings
• We don't store any video data

Analytics (Optional)

We may use anonymous analytics to understand:

• Number of visitors
• Which pages are viewed

• General geographic region (country level)

This data is aggregated and anonymous. It does NOT include any of your recordings or personal information.

Browser Permissions

DeskCap.io requires these browser permissions:

• Screen Capture: To record your screen
• Microphone (Optional): For voice narration
• Camera (Optional): For webcam overlay

You control these permissions. Your browser will ask before granting access.

Third-Party Services

DeskCap.io may be hosted on third-party infrastructure (like Netlify), but your recordings never reach any servers. All processing happens in your browser.

• Remembering your dark mode preference
• Basic analytics (if enabled)

Children's Privacy

DeskCap.io does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we don't collect personal data at all, this is not a concern.
